Nissan N-Sport editions pricing announced

Nissan Australia has announced a trio of new N-Sport special editions for the 370Z, Pathfinder and X-Trail model lines.

The new sport-themed specials follow last year's Navara N-Sport – which sold all 500 units – and Nissan hopes these new editions will "capture the attention of 370Z and SUV buyers".

Here's a look at each N-Sport edition ahead of their on-sale dates on August 1.

Nissan 370Z N-Sport

If you're thinking the bright yellow 370Z looks familiar, it's because it's essentially a renamed version of the Heritage Edition shown in the US over a year ago.

The yellow-and-black colour scheme – which can also be reversed on the outside – is a hark back to the 1980 Datsun 280ZX 'Black Gold' edition, which celebrated the Z's 10th anniversary nearly 40 years ago.

Contrasting graphics adorn the bonnet, roof and side skirts, along with black side mirrors and model-specific black 18-inch alloy wheels.

The black-and-yellow theme continues to the interior, too, with splashes of bright yellow trim and stitching for the doors, steering wheel, shift knob, knee pads and dash board, along with the cloth seat trim.

Just 50 examples of the 370Z N-Sport are available locally, with three colours on offer: Chicane Yellow (pictured), Diamond Black ($550) and Shiro White ($550).

Pricing starts at $48,490 plus on-roads when equipped with the six-speed manual transmission, climbing to $50,990 before ORCs for the seven-speed automatic.

Nissan X-Trail N-Sport

The top-selling X-Trail SUV has once again received the N-Sport treatment, priced from $39,250 plus ORCs.

Based on the mid-tier ST-L variant (five seat), the X-Trail N-Sport is available with both front- and all-wheel drive ($41,250), and gets numerous black pack-style enhancements over the model on which it's based.

Key highlights include unique 18-inch alloy wheels finished in black, black mirror caps, dark metallic front and rear bumper inserts, black side sills, dark chrome front grille, and black roof rails.

The X-Trail N-Sport is limited to 600 units nationally, and is available in four colours: Diamond Black, Gun Metallic, Brilliant Silver and Ivory Pearl (pictured).

Nissan Pathfinder N-Sport

Finally, the third Nissan model to receive the N-Sport treatment is the seven-seat Pathfinder SUV, priced from $56,425 plus on-road costs.

Like the X-Trail N-Sport, the Pathfinder N-Sport is based on the mid-spec front-drive ST-L trim level, and gets several dark-themed enhancements for a black pack-style look.

Among the updates are black-painted 20-inch alloy wheels, black side mirrors, a black front grille, black front and rear bumper inserts, along with black roof rails.

The Pathfinder N-Sport is available in Diamond Black, Gun Metallic, and Ivory Pearl (pictured). Nissan Australia has confirmed that 250 units will be available locally.
