Cosmetic changes to coupe revealed by Instagrammer
Images of the showroom-ready Audi TT facelift have been leaked ahead of the car's official unveiling.
Overnight, Instagram user tts_freunde.de posted what appear to be low-resolution press photos of the revised Audi TTS on their account.
It's not clear how this person acquired these images, but they seem to be authentic, as most of the details line up with what we've been able discern through numerous batches of spy photos.
Up front, the updated TT S has new a honeycomb insert for the single-frame grille, as well as a more aggressively sculpted front bumper with gunmetal grey accents.
Along the sides we can see a redesigned sill, which like the front features new gunmetal grey accents. At the rear, the bumpers have been reshaped to include vents near the trailing edge of the wheel arches.
The diffuser-style element surrounding the four exhaust tips has also been given the once over. Like other parts of the car, it now sports a slightly more complex design, and is finished off in gunmetal grey.
On the inside, the seats have been fitted with an updated leather trim design. There's also a band of body colour leather or faux suede running along the length of the centre tunnel, as well as the sides of the front seats.
No details about the updated TT's drivetrain have been revealed, but we don't expect to see drastic changes to the current model's selection of turbocharged four- and five-cylinder engines.
