Poll: 2019 Audi A1 is a styling winner

And: C-Class or A4 wagon, which would you have?

There's not much doubt about this one. The leaner, meaner 2019 Audi A1 is already a winner, as far as styling is concerned.

A whopping 77 per cent of respondents to our latest poll favoured the new A1 over its predecessor, an almost identical split to that we saw with the new-generation Mercedes-Benz A-Class when it launched. Seems people like new, shiny designs.

The 2019 A1 is 56mm longer than the car it replaces, and has a 65L larger boot. Given the outgoing car's age, it shouldn't be a surprise to hear the new model will represent a significant leap forward in terms of technology, with the 10.25-in Virtual Cockpit standard across the range.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is standard, and a 10.1-in central touchscreen will be offered as an option, if you don't already have enough information in front of you.

Standard lane-departure warning, autonomous emergency braking and adaptive cruise control operate between 0 and 200km/h in cars with the Audi S-Tronic transmission.

THIS WEEK'S POLL

Audi has (very) mildly refreshed the A4 for 2019. Would you take the angular Avant or a swoopy C-Class wagon?

UPDATE: It looks like Facebook is doing silly things with its embedded media, as the poll options are no longer appearing above. For now, if you'd like to vote, head to our Facebook post. Otherwise, stay tuned for the results next week.
