Poll: 2018 Rolls-Royce Phantom holds sway over Cullinan

And this week's poll is a dual-cab face-off

The first ever Rolls-Royce high-sided vehicle, the Cullinan, might be the new kid on the block, but the Phantom has taken the win in our latest poll.

An overwhelming 75 per cent of voters favoured the old-fashioned, three-box Phantom over the nouveau-riche crossover unveiled earlier this year.

Both are powered by a 6.75-litre twin-turbo engine making 420kW of power, but the Cullinan makes a piddling 850Nm of torque compared to the 900Nm offered in the Phantom.

In the Cullinan, power sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission, making it the first all-wheel drive Roller, while the Phantom is still rear-wheel drive only.

THIS WEEK'S POLL

With a new face, autonomous emergency braking and 2.0-litre bi-turbo power, the Ranger has been sharpened up for 2019. Does it pack enough punch to counteract the pull of a three-pointed star? This week's poll aims to find out.
