Citroen has announced the special-edition C4 Cactus Black, which arrives in Australia from $30,990 drive-away.

Limited to just 20 units nationally, the company says the dark-themed version of its quirky crossover brings $3850 of additional equipment, despite being priced just $1000 over the drive-away price of a standard C4 Cactus with the six-speed automatic.

Additions to the features list includes a panoramic roof, cloth/leatherette combination seat trim, grey leather dash trim, black 17-inch alloy wheels, and One-Tone badging.

That's on top of the standard C4 Cactus's 7.0-inch touchscreen navigation system, rear-view camera with rear parking sensors, DAB+ digital radio, six-speaker audio system with Arkamys digital amplifier, automatic headlights and wipers, climate control, Bluetooth, USB input, and a bi-colour leather steering wheel with chrome inserts and controls.

"Since its introduction globally, the Citroen Cactus has challenged convention yet gained accolades for its outstanding style, comfort and quality – the Cactus Black just adds further value to an already outstanding vehicle," said Anouk Poelmann, managing director for Citroen Australia.

Power comes from the same 81kW/205Nm 1.2-litre turbo petrol as the standard car, mated to a six-speed automatic. The Citroen C4 Cactus Black is available now.
