2017 Mercedes-AMG GT R, GT C and GT S recalled

Mercedes-AMG has issued a recall notice for the GT R, GT C and GT S, over concerns the seatbelt could jam in its guide loop.

According to the company, the issue could stop the seat belt from effectively restraining drivers under heavy braking.

A total of 59 cars sold between June 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017 is affected – the VIN list is attached here. 

Mercedes has asked affected owners to contact their nearest dealer for an inspection of their vehicle and, if required, a free fix.
