2019 Ford Everest Revealed

Ford has given the Everest a new heart: top-spec cars will now get the 2.0-litre bi-turbo engine from the Ranger Raptor, making 157kW of power and 500Nm of torque. It also gets a mild exterior overhaul, although you'd be hard-pressed to spot the differences.


Peugeot offering seven-year warranty on SUVs, upgrades on hatches

Buying a Peugeot before the end of June? If its a 208 or 308, you'll get a free upgrade from Active to Allure grade. If you're after a 2008, 3008 or 5008, the standard five-year warranty has been extended to seven years.


Renault Australia plotting two utes: Alaskan and Duster Oroch

We know about the Renault Alaskan, but what about the Duster Oroch? If the company gets its way, we might be seeing both in local dealerships.


2019 Ford Ranger revealed with available AEB, 10-speed auto

Along with the Everest, the Blue Oval unveiled its new Ranger this week. Along with the Ranger Raptor powertrain offered in the Everest, the XLT and Wildtrak are now available with autonomous emergency braking.


Skoda: Active Info Display coming in Q4

Skoda's high-tech on the Volkswagen Group's digital dials is on the way to Australia... but it's still a while away. Initially intended to launch with the Karoq, the system will now be arriving in the fourth quarter of 2018.


URGENT: 45,000 Honda Australia owners yet to get Takata fix

Honda has fixed 600,000 faulty, potentially deadly airbag inflators, but there's still 45,000 of its owners who haven't had their airbags replaced. Of that figure, more than 7000 are the most dangerous 'alpha' inflators.


2018 Skoda Karoq pricing and specs

The Karoq will be priced from $29,990 before on-roads when it touches down later this year, but there are plenty of ways to make that figure climb. The most expensive option? An $8900 Launch Pack, limited to 260 cars.
