Mercedes-Benz C-Class Nightfall Edition revealed for the UK
Dark-themed sedan, wagon, coupe and cabriolet not coming to Australia, though
Mercedes-Benz has revealed the C-Class Nightfall Edition for the UK, bringing black pack-style enhancements to all body variants of the popular nameplate.
Based on the current pre-facelift C-Class range – which will get a mild refresh in the coming months – the Nightfall Edition sports unique appointments like power-coated matte-black alloys, black mirrors, side graphics, and a carbon rear spoiler (coupe and cabriolet).
Just two colours are offered – Selenite Grey or Obsidian Black – though all examples come equipped as standard with the AMG Line package, which includes black ash wood trim, flat-bottom AMG steering wheel, AMG body styling, 18-inch five-spoke alloys (19-inch multispokers optional), sports suspension, along with a diamond grille with chrome pins (coupe and cabriolet).
Buyers can also opt for the Premium Equipment Line (£1695, $3048) for sedan, wagon and coupe versions, which adds ambient interior lighting, keyless start, the Comfort Package, Memory Package, and a panoramic sunroof. Additionally, the Premium Plus Line (£2995, $5385) gets a Burmester surround system and the upgraded Comand Online infotainment system.
The drop-top cabriolet comes with the Premium Equipment Line as standard, though buyers can tick the Premium Plus Line for an additional £1300 ($2338).
Pricing for the C-Class Nightfall Edition in the UK kicks off at £32,565 ($58,559) for the C200 sedan.
Australia
Mercedes-Benz's local division has confirmed with CarAdvice the Nightfall Edition will not be heading Down Under, with the updated C-Class range just months away – though third quarter of 2018 is as specific as the Australian arm is willing to get.
