The Porsche 911 GT3 RS is a lean green racing machine – provided you specify it in 'Lizard Green', of course – but it's arguably as good on the road as it is on track.

In this video, Porsche unleashes the new GT3 RS on the Isle of Man, piloted by race drivers Mark Higgins (Isle of Man lap record holder for four-wheeled vehicles) and Steve Plater (two-time Isle of Man Time Trial winner).

We won't give too much away, but the near-four-minute clip is beautifully shot, with insightful voiceovers from Higgins and Plater themselves.

Power in the GT3 RS comes from a 4.0-litre naturally-aspirated flat six, generating 383kW of power and 470Nm of torque – making it the most powerful naturally-aspirated 911, ever.

The performance figures are equally impressive. Porsche claims a 0-100km/h sprint of just 3.2 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 312km/h.

Pricing in Australia starts at $416,500 before on-road costs. Watch the video above for more!
