Lister teases new model based on F-Pace SVR

Claimed to be the world's fastest SUV

Lister Motor Company has teased its newest creation, "the world's fastest SUV" set to be based on the new Jaguar F-Pace SVR.

The above image was posted on the firm's Facebook page, with no details other than "coming soon" accompanying the partial teaser.

Finished in a deep metallic green, the new Lister F-Pace appears to get a new front bumper, yellow side stripe, 'Lister' badging, and new alloy wheels covering large cross-drilled brakes with yellow pistons.

It also appears there's an additional set of LED daytime-running lights in the front bumper where the fog-lights would normally be.

The new model from Lister will likely use an uprated version of the F-Pace SVR's 5.0-litre supercharged V8, which in 'standard' tune makes a healthy 404kW of power and 680Nm of torque.

Acceleration from 0-100km/h takes 4.3 seconds in the SVR, on its way to a top speed of 283km/h. We'd argue the Lister version will better all of those figures, with the benchmark sprint dropping under the 4.0-second mark and the top speed heading north of 300km/h.

To officially take the title of 'world's fastest SUV', the Lister F-Pace will have to better the 305km/h top whack claimed by the new Lamborghini Urus.
