Jaguar XE SV Project 8 unleashed on Goodwood Circuit – Video

Four-door track weapon driven by Andy Wallace and Davy Jones

The Jaguar XE SV Project 8 is a bonafide track weapon, already nabbing the four-door production car record at the famed Nurburgring circuit. But what do race drivers think of it?

In this latest video, Le Mans champions Andy Wallace and Davy Jones take the limited-run sedan around the Goodwood Motor Circuit, and share their thoughts on what is one of the quickest production Jaguars ever built.

Power in the XE SV Project 8 comes from a 5.0-litre supercharged V8, making a meaty 441kW of power and 700Nm of torque.

All that grunt is sent to a performance all-wheel drive system through an eight-speed Quickshift automatic, making for a claimed 0-100km/h time of just 3.7 seconds.

If the class-leading acceleration wasn't enough already, Jaguar claims the Project 8 will spin all the way to 322km/h if you have enough road – it's truly manic.

Just 300 units of the XE SV Project 8 will be produced, all in left-hand drive, which unfortunately rules it out for our market.
