Mini Convertible 25th Anniversary revealed
Special edition only for the UK, though
Mini is celebrating 25 years of its Convertible, which first went on sale in 1993 as the Mini Cabriolet.
A quarter of a century later, the BMW-owned marque has created the Mini Convertible 25th Anniversary, complete with numerous unique appointments to commemorate the drop-top Mini's milestone.
Key equipment highlights include anniversary tread plates and plaque, Lounge leather upholstery in Satellite Grey, along with a Starlight Blue metallic exterior.
Based on the Cooper S specification, the Convertible 25th Anniversary also gets white mirror caps, white bonnet stripes, a Mini Yours fabric roof with woven Union Jack, and 18-inch two-tone Mini Yours alloy wheels as standard fit.
Finally, the Chilli Pack, Navigation Plus Package, and Harman Kardon audio system are all part of the 25th Anniversary special-edition.
Just 300 examples of the limited-run drop-tops will be made for the UK market, with prices starting at an eye-watering £32,995 ($60,004).
Australia
Mini's local division has confirmed with CarAdvice the Convertible 25th Anniversary is solely a UK-market model, ruling it out for Australia.
