2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class L debuts in Beijing
Long-wheelbase sedan updated for China
Mercedes-Benz has revealed the updated C-Class L for the Chinese market at the Beijing motor show, bringing similar upgrades to the standard-wheelbase version sold globally.
Key upgrades for the C-Class L include the new digital driver instrument cluster, EQ Boost mild-hybrid technology for select engine variants, a revised design for the LED headlights, and minor design changes inside and out.
Occupants will also notice a larger infotainment system and new steering wheel design compared to the outgoing model, along with increased choice for the ambient lighting system – now available in 64 colours.
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class L continues to be a China-only proposition, featuring an 8cm-longer wheelbase than the standard car.
In addition to the extra length, rear passengers can electrically adjust the front passenger seat in true limousine style.
The C-Class L is sold alongside the standard-wheelbase C-Class, with Chinese-market versions built in China's capital, Beijing.
