The compact 2002 is widely renowned for kick-starting the 'modern BMW' as we know it. Lisa has owned three examples, but this (lightly-modified) E10 is designed to be her 'keeper' – a car to hold onto for life.

The Porsche 911 Carrera RS is a legend, even among the legendary 911 back catalogue. With flared guards, a ducktail spoiler, Fuchs alloy wheels and a classic sticker pack, it's one of the prettiest rear-engined cars ever to grace the earth – but this article dives a bit deeper than that, pitting it against its modern, distant GT3 RS cousin.
