2008 Mitsubishi Lancer VR

The mid-range Lancer VR sits between the Lancer ES and the range topping VRX.

Weighing only 1320kgs, the VR Sedan is priced from $25,290 for the manual, with the CVT transmission equipped variant retailing for $27,590.

Powered by the all-new 2.0-litre MIVEC engine, the Lancer manages 113kW of power and 198Nm of torque. 0-100 in achieved in 9.5 seconds for the five-speed manual and 10.5 seconds for the CVT variant.

The VR sedan comes with all the standard features of the ES Sedan such as cruise control, ABS with EBD and Brake assist, as well as Mitsubishi's Active stability and Traction Control, plus 16” Alloy wheels, Chrome exhaust, Front fog lamps a Lip spoiler and more.

From the inside, the VR gains front map lamps, leather wrapped parking brake lever, shift knob and steering wheel with audio switches.

Apart from the front and rear power windows, automatic air conditioner and tilt adjustable steering wheel, VR comes with dusk sensing headlights and rainsensing wipers.

The audio system is upgraded to a unique audio (FM/AM Tuner + 6CD Changer) with 6 speakers (4 speakers + 2 tweeters).
