Mercedes-Benz Sport parts for A-Class revealed
For those who want more show without the extra go
The Mercedes-Benz Sport accessories range has been revealed for the new-generation A-Class hatchback due to arrive in Australia later this year.
Not to be confused with the various AMG equipment packages currently available for the company's wider range, the Mercedes-Benz Sport catalogue is much like the M Performance add-ons offered by arch-rival BMW – largely made up of different alloy wheels and carbon-fibre parts.
For the A-Class, buyers will be able to choose from "Carbon Style" bits for the B-pillars, mirror covers, front spoiler lip (above), side skirts, and rear roof spoiler. The roof spoiler can also be painted in the vehicle's body colour if desired (below).
There's also a range of new light-alloy wheel designs, ranging from 16- to 19-inches in diameter.

Speaking with CarAdvice, senior manager for public relations at Mercedes-Benz's local division, David McCarthy, confirmed the new A-Class accessories will be offered in Australia.
"We are on track to have them available by vehicle launch," he added. The new A-Class will touch down in the third quarter of this year.
