2018 Kia Picanto GT-Line pricing and specs
Sport-themed micro hatch arrives from $17,490
Australian pricing and specifications for the new 2018 Kia Picanto GT-Line have been announced this week, with the sporty-looking micro hatch kicking off from $17,490 drive-away.
Basically a permanent version of the AO Edition launched earlier this year, the GT-Line brings a raft of visual upgrades inside and out for a more athletic feel.
Equipment highlights include 16-inch alloy wheels, GT-Line badging, 'premium' leather-look seats with red accents, alloy sports pedals, a six-speaker sound system, LED daytime-running lights, along with the GT-Line exterior package which includes a body kit, contrasting body accents, and twin exhaust tips.
Four colours are available (one solid, three premium) – Clear White (solid), Aurora Black, Titanium Silver or Signal Red (premium), with the latter three asking for an extra $520.
Power comes from the same 1.25-litre naturally-aspirated petrol as the standard Picanto, making 62kW of power at 6000rpm and 122Nm of torque at 4000rpm. The GT-Line is exclusively offered with a four-speed automatic transmission.
Like the wider range the Picanto GT-Line is covered by Kia's seven year, unlimited kilometre warranty with seven years of roadside assistance and capped-price servicing.
