2018 Range Rover Velar recalled – UPDATE

Heating issue forces campaign

Jaguar Land Rover has issued a recall notice for the MY18 Range Rover Velar, over concerns about a flap within the heating system.

According to the company, the linkage controlling the fresh air flap in the heating system could be disconnected.

In the right (or wrong) conditions, that issue could cause condensation on the front windscreen and windows.

If there's condensation on the windscreen and it isn't quickly cleared, the lack of vision increases the risk of an accident.

UPDATE, 04/04/2018: Jaguar has confirmed approximately 1649 vehicles are affected by the recall.

JLR will contact owners of the affected vehicles and advise them to contact their nearest dealer for a fix.
