2019 Cadillac CT6 V-Sport debuts twin-turbo V8
Plenty of grunt for flagship limousine
The 2019 Cadillac CT6 V-Sport has been revealed this week ahead of the New York motor show, boasting an all-new twin-turbo V8 engine.
Headlining the specifications list is an in-house 4.2-litre twin-turbo V8, generating 410kW of power and 850Nm of torque.
While Cadillac doesn't quote performance figures for the CT6 V-Sport, the twin-turbo V8 is matched to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Key equipment includes new LED headlights with vertical signatures, 20-inch V-Sport alloy wheels with new "summer-only" tyres, gloss-black side window surrounds, unique lower aero components, a mechanical limited-slip rear differential, V-Sport suspension, 19-inch Brembo brakes, magnetic ride control, and an active exhaust system.
The updated CT6 range also gets a new 10-inch infotainment system with 1080p resolution and available 4G connectivity, app compatibility, and a revised rotary controlled for the infotainment system.
Cadillac will debut the updated CT6 range – including the all-new V-Sport – at the New York motor show.
