Ram 2500 and 3500 recalled over fire risk

American Special Vehicles has recalled 2014-2017 Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks with the 6.7-litre diesel engine, over concerns a faulty water pump could cause an engine fire.

According to the importer and right-hand drive converter, the water pump could fail which, in turn, might cause an engine compartment fire.

There are 529 vehicles included in this recall. A VIN list is attached here.

Owners will be notified by mail, and advised to take their car to a dealer for the required fix.
