We're on location this week from the Melbourne 4x4 Training and Proving Ground for our ute mega test with Mandy Turner, CEO Andrew Beecher, Mike Costello, Curt Dupriez and Kez Casey.

In car news, the Volkswagen Golf GTE has been ruled out for Australia, the Subaru Forester has been teased, and Lexus says autonomous cars are dangerous in cities.

Pricing and specs have been released for the Infiniti QX80 and Citroen C3, the Genesis G70 will get a manual option in the US, and Australia is not getting a manual Volkswagen Polo GTI.

Andrew and Curt review a car we own, the 2018 BMW M140i.

Scott Collie speaks to Greens Senator, Janet Rice, about the Greens proposing a 2030 sales ban on petrol and diesel cars.

Lastly, the team speaks about what the ute mega test will incorporate, and which competitors are standing out.
