2013-2016 Citroen C4 Picasso recalled
Overheating risk sidelines French people mover
Citroen Australia has recalled the seven-seat C4 Picasso, over concerns the engine cooling strategy and maximum temperature alert could make the engine overheat.
According to the company, the fault could cause the engine to overheat and seize. Should the condition occur, the car could stop suddenly, increasing the risk of an accident.
Recalled units were built between August 1, 2013 and April 30, 2016. A VIN list for the 334 affected vehicles is attached.
Citroen will contact owners by mail, and ask them to take their car to a dealer to have the ECU software updated.
