Pininfarina teases HK GT one last time

Doors up, interior open

Pininfarina has teased the HK GT one last time before the Geneva motor show, offering a glimpse at the car's funky rear-hinged gull-wing doors.

The image shows the HK GT with its doors aloft, and reveals its four-seat layout. The car rides on massive aero-style wheels, and has a fashionable sloping roofline, flowing into a Porsche Panamera-style curved rear-end.

We'd bank on the car having a suitably chunky caboose when it launches.

As with previous teasers, there's no concrete information provided about the car's powertrain or performance. We know, however, it will be pure-electric – HK stands for Hybrid Kinetic Group, a Hong Kong firm specialising in electric vehicle tech.

Pininfarina brings its extensive styling knowledge and wind tunnel to the project, in an attempt to create a "masterpiece combining stylistic research with environmental sustainability."

Previous teasers have revealed the car's two-door body and slimline cameras, along with a peek at the cabin. We'll have to wait for the Geneva motor show for a full reveal, so stay tuned.
