Hyundai has recalled 10,617 cars built between 2004 and 2013 across the Sonata and Grandeur model lines, over concerns water could short circuit the ABS circuit board.

Hyundai says there's a fire risk if the ABS board is short circuited as a result of the fault.

Affected Sonata and Grandeur sedans were sold between August 18 2004 and December 12 2013. A VIN list is attached here.

Hyundai will contact owners of the affected vehicles of the affected vehicles, and advise them to contact their dealer for a fix.
