Skoda has rolled out a handful of updates for the 2018.5 model year, headlined by the availability of wireless phone charging on several model lines.

The charging technology is available as part of the Tech Pack on regular Octavia, Superb and Kodiaq variants, and is equipped as standard on Octavia RS and Superb Sportline models.

Other changes include two new colours for the Superb Sportline: Steel Grey and Velvet Red, the latter of which is shown on the UK Skoda configurator below.

Finally, the Superb 140TDI now gets the Volkswagen Group’s new wet-clutch seven-speed DSG transmission, which is said to improve drivability – particularly at lower speeds.

The MY18.5 Skoda range is now on sale, with pricing unchanged.
