2019 Audi TT S spied

New bumpers and lights, but massive foggies not included

The 2019 Audi TT S has been snapped in Roadster and Coupe guise, previewing a minor facelift for the little sports car.

Up front, you'll notice a revised grille and front bumper, complete with more aggressive detailing around the outboard and bottom air intakes.

There's camouflage one the bottom edge of the headlights, which suggests Audi may have tweaked them slightly, but the car still carries the same LED signature as before. Oh, and those (super cool) rally-style lights are only there for winter testing. Sorry.

The side sills on these testers are more pronounced than before, though that could designed to conceal what lies beneath. What are you hiding, Audi?

It's hard to tell what's changed down back, but we'd bank on small tweaks to the bumpers and light signatures when the car launches. Expect to see a similarly incremental approach to interior upgrades, with potential revisions to the infotainment system.

With 210kW and 380Nm of torque on tap, the current car isn't what you'd call underpowered. Audi is staying quiet on what to expect from the 2019 TT S, but a mild power bump wouldn't be surprising to match the 213kW power output of the S3 – for 'hot weather' markets anyway.

Our guess is that the revised TT range will be revealed later this year, potentially at the Paris motor show in October. Stay tuned for updates over the coming months.
