2018 Geneva motor show preview: What to expect

Europe's first big motor show for the new year is nearly here


January's Detroit motor show is a distant memory, and the European calendar's first big new-car event of the year, the 2018 Geneva motor show, is nearly upon us.

Last year gave us the final production design of the new Alpine A110, the Ferrari 812 Superfast, the new Ford Fiesta ST (still not confirmed for Australia), the McLaren 720S and the new Honda Civic Type R, among others. (See our article here.)

Funnily enough, a new coupe version of the Alfa Romeo Giulia had been rumoured at the time. It didn't show up then, and it probably won't this year, either...
