Europe's first big motor show for the new year is nearly here
- shares

January's Detroit motor show is a distant memory, and the European calendar's first big new-car event of the year, the 2018 Geneva motor show, is nearly upon us.

Last year gave us the final production design of the new Alpine A110, the Ferrari 812 Superfast, the new Ford Fiesta ST (still not confirmed for Australia), the McLaren 720S and the new Honda Civic Type R, among others. (See our article here.)

Funnily enough, a new coupe version of the Alfa Romeo Giulia had been rumoured at the time. It didn't show up then, and it probably won't this year, either...

What can we expect this year? Catch our list below, and check back over the coming weeks as we continue to update the list.
