2019 Volvo V60 leaked ahead of Feb 21 debut
And it looks good!
The Volvo V60 wagon has been leaked a week before its official unveiling.
Two images published on AutoMotoSvijet – an automotive site in Bosnia and Herzegovina – show the new mid-size wagon from its rear three-quarter and profile views.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the car borrows most of its styling cues from the XC60 SUV with which it shares a platform.
The tail-lights are almost identical to those of the XC60, while the car sports a slimline roof-box in one of the images. Don't say Volvo doesn't know its target market...
In profile at least, the car could also be mistaken for a sportier take on the V90, with a similar window-line and roof. Both the XC60 and V90 are, to our eyes at least, attractive cars – and the V60 seems no different.
There's no word on what will power the V60 when it launches, but given its similarity to the XC60, expect to see a near-identical five-pronged powertrain approach.
On the diesel front, there's the 140kW/400Nm D4 and 173kW/480Nm twin-turbo D5.
There are also two 'regular' petrol offerings in the XC60 range – the 187kW/350Nm T5 and 235kW/400Nm T6, sitting below the hybrid T8 twin-engine with 300kW and 640Nm.
We'll get a more rounded (less blurry) look at the V60 on February 21.
