Lexus CT200h recalled for fuel tank fix
Lexus Australia has recalled the CT200h to fix an issue with the fuel tank.
According to the Japanese marque, the resin weld connecting the fuel tank and inlet pipe may not be to specification. As a result, part of the resin weld could peel off, causing fuel to leak and, in the worst case scenario, increase the risk of fire.
A total of 94 cars are being recalled – the VIN list is here.
Owners of the affected vehicles will be contacted by mail and encouraged to contact their Lexus dealer for a free fuel tank replacement.
