Pagani Huayra Lampo revealed

Italian supercar specialist Pagani has taken the wraps off the Huayra Lampo, a one-off version of its hypercar co-developed with Lapo Elkann - grandson of former Fiat CEO, Gianni Agnelli.

While many will draw comparisons between 'Lampo' and Italian rival Lamborghini, the word 'lampo' means 'lightning' - a striking name for a striking car, obviously.

Finished in a bespoke red-on-white two-tone colour scheme, the Huayra's exterior finish is inspired by the 1954 Fiat Turbina concept, combining the old-school paint job with the hypercar's exposed carbon-fibre bodywork.

The one-off special also gets some special carbon-fibre bits borrowed from the Huayra BC, along with larger front intakes than the 'standard' model.

Other distinguishing features include Italian flags scattered throughout the exterior, including the brake calipers, along with a special interior finished with diamond-quilted brown leather and anodised-bronze aluminium inlays.

No upgrades were made to the engine, though, but the 'standard' Huayra's 544kW/1000Nm twin-turbo 6.0-litre V12 from Mercedes-AMG is more than enough grunt. Well, it does in our opinion, at least.
