The 2018 Jaguar F-Pace has scored five stars in ANCAP's safety testing, with the rating applying to the entire range.

Jaguar's top-seller achieved 93 per cent for adult occupant protection and 85 per cent for child occupant protection, along with an 80 per cent rating for pedestrian protection.

“High scores were achieved in all physical crash tests and performance assessments,” said ANCAP CEO, James Goodwin. “AEB is provided as a standard feature along with forward collision and lane departure warning systems.”

"Other active safety assist features such as adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring and lane keep assist functions are however offered as options and we would encourage all brands to offer these important safety aids as standard in all markets."

Along with the F-Pace, ANCAP has released ratings for the Kia Stinger. Although top-spec cars received five stars, low-spec cars returned just three.
