Previewed with a single image posted on Twitter by Henrik Fisker – prominent designer and company founder – the new bus hasn't been described in much detail, other than the fact it will feature connected and autonomous driving technologies.
In terms of its design, the Orbit is a strange looking thing, with a bubble-like front end and sloping roofline.
There's an irregular polygonal shape for the side windows, which also feature projections for information like 'next stop' and departure times, while the rear sports upright tail-lights that most likely feature LED internals.
Further details will likely come closer to the Fisker Orbit's market rollout, which has been confirmed for October 2018 - though this refers to overseas markets like the US.
