For the first time, we can see the company's new 'Panamericana' front grille - which will soon become a commonplace across the entire AMG range - along with a beefier front bumper treatment, and different tailpipes.
The swirly black-and-white camouflage remains, as do the massive black-painted alloy wheels. We can't really see the tail-lights under the disguise, but the overall shape of the rear lighting, along with the tailgate itself, look to be pretty similar to the smaller GLC.
While unconfirmed at this stage, the new GLE63 will most likely use the same 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 as numerous members of the current AMG range. Expect the GLE to use the E63's 420kW and 450kW tunes for the 'standard' and 'S' variants.
In terms of timing, we're expecting the new GLE to be revealed sometime next year, with a market launch due either late-2018 or early-2019.
