2018 Mercedes-AMG C63 Estate spied

The facelifted 2018 Mercedes-AMG C63 Estate has been spied this week during development testing, giving us a first look at the updated performance wagon.

Part of the forthcoming mid-life facelift for the wider Mercedes-Benz C-Class range, the AMG C63 seen here sports camouflaged bumpers and a disguised front grille, which points us to what changes are on the way.

We'd expect the company's new 'Panamericana' front grille to feature on the updated model, along with revised front and rear bumper designs.

It's also believed revised headlights with upgraded internals will feature - reports suggest full-LED units - while the interior is expected to get the option of a full-digital set-up like the E-Class, S-Class, and the 2018 A-Class.

Under the bonnet will be the familiar 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8, though there could be a slight power bump over the current car's 375kW/700Nm outputs in 'S' trim.

For now, we'll have to wait until the new model's official reveal (likely early next year) to get the full rundown of all the upgrades.
