Hennessey Venom F5 interior revealed

Hennessey Performance has unveiled the interior for its upcoming Venom F5 in a set of images on Facebook.

Launched at SEMA, the Venom F5 promises some truly staggering performance specs. The twin-turbo V8 engine makes 1193kW of power, and the car weighs just 1338kg. As you might imagine, that makes for some impressive acceleration figures.

The 0-300km/h sprint reportedly takes less than 10 seconds, and 0-400-0km/h should be handled in less than 30 seconds. Hold on tight, kids, that's seriously fast.

At this stage, the car rides on 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tyres. All the power is put to the rear wheels, so the 345/30 rubber is likely to be very, very busy when the driver so much as breathes on the throttle.

What we didn't know at launch, however, was how the cabin would look. Although it isn't a full set of photos, new renders published on Hennessey Performance social media channels paint a much clearer picture.

Carbon-fibre is absolutely everywhere, from the doors to the dash, and even the steering wheel. The driver and passenger sit in what appear to be shell bucket seats, while yellow-and-black leather and Alcantara have been used to wrap anything that isn't carbon.

A fairly conventional steering wheel comes standard, but buyers will be able to option a racing wheel with a built-in information read out. Perhaps unsurprisingly, it's made of carbon-fibre, leather and Alcantara.

Just 24 Venom F5 coupes will be built, with a pricetag of around US$1.6 million ($2.1 million). Not cheap, but being among the first to test the claimed 300mph (482km/h) top speed is worth its weight in gold, right?
