Nissan Intelligent Mobility concept teased ahead of Tokyo debut

Nissan has teased a new concept ahead of the Tokyo motor show on October 25 that "embodies the future of Nissan Intelligent Mobility".

There are no other details about the car other than the reveal date, though a short video hints at autonomous driving systems, connected vehicle technology and electrification - all key pillars of Nissan's Intelligent Mobility philosophy.

Also spotted in the video is the vehicle's silhouette, which features blue illumination around the headlights, along the bonnet, and the roofline. The vehicle appears to sit quite high, pointing to a crossover-like body, while the sloping roofline and fastback tailgate hint at a coupe-crossover design.

Reports from overseas claim Nissan has previously hinted at a Vmotion 3.0 concept, due to be revealed by the end of the year, which is believed to be an all-electric crossover with autonomous driving technologies.

At the Detroit motor show in January, Nissan revealed the Vmotion 2.0 concept (above), an edgy sedan with suicide doors and the company's ProPilot autonomous technologies.
