Mystery Lexus concept to be unveiled at 2017 Tokyo motor show
Lexus has confirmed it will debut a new concept car at the 2017 Tokyo motor show, which kicks off at the end of October.
Beyond that, the luxury automaker has said precious little, leaving it open for us to speculate wildly about what this car might be.

A Japanese media report published around the time of the international LS launch indicated Lexus would pull the covers off a high performance variant, to be known as the LS F, at the Tokyo show.
Unlike the 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 LS500 and the V6 Multi-Stage Hybrid LS500h, which we've driven and reviewed, the LS F will reportedly feature a twin-turbo V8 engine.
If this car shows up in the Japanese capital, it's unknown if it will be presented in production guise or as a concept car preview.

Another candidate is the long awaited seven-seat RX crossover, which, according to a July report in Mag-X, will feature a lengthened area aft of the rear axle.
Other possibilities include a preview of the next-generation CT hatchback, or a more production ready version of the UX small crossover concept.
It should also be noted the ES sedan is up for renewal soon. If previous generations are anything to go by, the new ES should appear within a year of the related Toyota Camry.
Should rumours and reports prove to be correct, the new ES will be based on the new front-wheel drive Toyota New Global Architecture, but will have sportier looks and disposition. In addition to replacing the current ES, the new car is thought to be a replacement for the GS sedan as well.

The mystery concept will be joined on stage in Tokyo by 11 production Lexus vehicles, including the new LS, the LC coupe, the facelifted CT hatch and revised NX.
