Nissan 350Z Races Porsche 911 GT3, Both Get Beaten by Surprise Challenger!

While the majority of us live under the control of our nanny government's speed limits, commuters on parts of the German autobahn have the luxury of not being confined to any such limits.

It's thanks to this that we are blessed with videos like the above, showing what happens when a supercharged Nissan 350Z tackles a Porsche 911 GT3, but that's not all! Wait until a surprise contender comes out of nowhere.

The Nissan 350Z in the video is said to have a Procharger supercharger. A stock Nissan 350Z makes 287-306 hp (depending on year). As per Procharger, their intercooled unit includes 55-60 percent more power to the 350Z.

This suggests this vehicle would be putting out somewhere around 445 and 490 hp, which gets put to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual. The 991 Porsche 911 GT3 appearing in the video makes 475 hp in stock form, and sends its power to the back wheels by means of a seven-speed PDK transmission.

As the 350Z jumps onto the expressway, he passes the 911 GT3 at wide open throttle. The Porsche driver wasn't going to have a bar of this, and also goes flat out, passing the Nissan. As the Porsche is pulling triumphantly, a Mk1 Volkswagen Golf pulls up and passes them both like they are standing still!

It has been rumoured that the Golf has been gifted with Volkswagen’s 4Motion all-wheel drive system, however we would really love to know what is under that bonnet!
