Ken Block’s Ford Fiesta gets a little dusty in new video

Ken Block is back! In his tenth Gymkhana instalment titled 'Terrakhana - The Ultimate Playground', he teams up with Pennzoil to go off-road at Swing Arm City, Utah.

Seated in his Ford Fiesta RX43 rally car, Block puts the foot to the floor, resulting in massive dirt rooster tails.

With some clever slow-motion photography, the five-minute video shows Block having a ball going flat-out across the sandy plains.

The car can be seen getting some decent air over mounds of sand, and at one stage the front left of the car lands heavily where the wheel guard appears to come loose.

A highlight is Block driving up a steep sandy cliff and throwing the car around only metres from the top where a vertical drop is on the other side.

We get a close-up look at Block's feet on the pedals and the steering and suspension hard at work as he gets centimetres from rocky edges and cliff bases, before making his way to a group of yellow placards to do his iconic donuts.

The cabin fills with dust, and the car kicks up that much dirt it makes you wonder how he knows where he's going.

Block's all-wheel-drive Fiesta has a modified 2.0-litre turbocharged EcoBoost engine, developing a staggering 447kW of power and 650Nm of torque, paired to a six-speed transmission. It can reach 97km/h (0-60mph) in less than two seconds.

Got a spare five minutes? Watching this video will be the best decision you've made today.
