2018 Subaru Forester pricing and specs: Same looks, more kit

The 2018 Subaru Forester has arrived on sale, with minor tweaks across a few of the model grades.

There are no cosmetic changes to the 2018 model-year version of the Subaru Forester (and thus these are photos of the last model-year update, 2016), with just spec upgrades filtering to the petrol-powered 2.5i-S, turbo-petrol 2.0 XT Premium, and turbo-diesel 2.0D-S models.

The trio of grades now adopt the company's Vision Assist technology pack, with blind-spot monitoring, lane-change assist, rear cross-traffic alert, side view monitor and adaptive high-beam head-lights. Further, the EyeSight camera-based forward monitoring system now includes lane-keeping assistance.

The latter lane-keeping assistance system is only available on the diesel model with the CVT automatic transmission (but not the manual version), and it's the only variant that sees a price change as part of the 2018 model-year Forester update.
