2010 Fiat commercial range unveiled
Fiat has a new range of commercial vehicles for Australia. The new Fiat Ducato will be available in medium-, long- and extra long-wheelbase variants with room inside ranging from 10- to 15-cubic metres and the ability to carry up to two-tonnes.
The new 2010 Ducato comes standard with heavy duty enhancements, uprated suspension, 16-inch wheels and improved external body protection.
Other standard features include cruise control, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, driver and passenger airbags, traction control, ABS with EBD, air-conditioning, power steering, electric windows and mirrors, steering wheel mounted controls, remote central locking and 270-degree barn doors.
Fiat had a successful 2009 with sales of the commercial vehicles improving, the Ducato sales were up 15 per cent and the Scudo improved by 300 per cent compared to the 2008 results.
The Ducato was awarded “Best Basis for a Motor-home” three years in a row in Europe and New Zealand with the model passing the two million unit mark.
The Fiat Ducato has a nation wide dealer network backing it and a three year 200,000km warranty with roadside assistance.
