Nissan Qashqai N-Sport Special Edition adds value, sharp pricing

Nissan Australia has bumped up the value equation of its popular Qashqai SUV with the release of a special edition, the Nissan Qashqai N-Sport Special Edition.

With $1800 worth of included accessories, the N-Sport Special Edition gains 18-inch alloy wheels (over the standard 17-inch rims) plus a host of what the company is calling ‘ice chrome’ detailing to distinguish it from the standard spec Qashqai.

Detail trim receiving the ‘ice chrome’ treatment include front and rear stying plates, front lip finisher, side door sills and the lower trunk finisher.

Available only on the Nissan Qashqai ST 2.0-litre petrol variant, the N-Sport Special Edition is priced at $28,690 plus on-road costs, although the company is offering a $26,990 drive-away deal until the end of August.

The Qashqai is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine producing 106kW and 200Nm of torque. It’s mated to the Xtronic continuously variable transmission (CVT).

Despite being at the entry point of the Qashqai range, the N-Sport Special Edition is loaded with standard features including cruise control, leather-accented steering wheel, rear-view camera and LED daytime-running lights.
