2016 Citroen C4 Cactus recalled for bumper fix

Citroen has issued a recall for eight examples of its 2016 C4 Cactus crossover over concerns trim on the front bumper bar could come loose.

The French manufacturer reports the front bumper bar's lower trim finisher may not have been properly secured during production.

If the condition occurs, the lower trim finisher could detach and fall off, posing a hazard to other road users.

The eight affected C4 Cactus vehicles were sold from 1 September 2016 through 31 October 2016. A VIN list for these cars can be viewed here.

Owners of these models will be contacted via mail by Citroen Australia, and will be advised to present their C4 Cactus to their local dealer to have the front bumper trim inspected and, if necessary, replaced.
