Lotus is bringing just 10 of the Elise S-based Club Racers to Australia.
The performance numbers remain the same: 100kW 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine, 7.6 litres/100km, 179g/km CO2, 0-100km/h in 6.1 seconds, 860kg.
Sporting a retro design featuring four classic colour schemes from the 1960s – Elite Yellow, Carbon Grey, Sky Blue and Old English White – the exterior theme is carried over to the transmission tunnel and seat shells.
The seats themselves are lightweight and clad with microfibre pads, the minimalist approach extending to the 320mm diameter leather rimmed steering wheel and aluminium foot-well flooring.
Other uniquely Club Racer features include anodised gearknob and handbrake sleeve, “CR” embroidery on the seat headrests and badging on the body, and lightweight six-spoke anthracite anodised alloy wheels with Yokohama AD07 LTS rubber.

Recommended retail pricing of the Lotus Elise Club Racer is $72,990 plus dealer delivery, statutory government and on-road charges.
