2017 Maserati Levante recalled for pipe fix

The 2017 Maserati Levante has been recalled this week, with 74 units potentially fitted with a section of the intercooler pipe that could break.

According to the Italian marque, affected vehicles are fitted with a non-conforming short rubber hose section of the intercooler pipe which has the potential to break during normal use.

If the condition occurs, owners may see a loss of performance, and the 'check engine light' will illuminate.

A VIN list for the recalled Levante SUVs can be viewed here. No incidents related to this issue have been reported in Australia.

Owners of the affected units will be contacted directly by Maserati's local arm, and are encouraged to arrange an appointment with their local dealer for the inspection and repair of their Levante.
