2011 Mercedes-Benz ML-Class spied again
More pics today of what's possibly the most spied pre-sale SUV in history. This latest batch of spy photos are the fourth such lot received here at the CarAdvice office, and show the heavily clad ML-Class undergoing cold weather testing in northern Europe's harsh winter snow.
The new M-Class won’t get longer front and rear overhangs and even the wheelbase doesn’t appear to be stretched compared to the current model. If anything the new ML-Class is more trimmed and taut, perhaps in a bid to reduce weight making this new model more efficient.
A few subtle design changes such as the rear door, the side mirrors, and the position of the door handles, the roof rack and the higher rear window.
Under the bonnet we should expect a similar range of engines as those powering the current model, including petrol engines between 3.5- and 6.2-litres and consumption-optimised diesel units with 3.0- and 4.0-litres capacity.
