It’s that time of the year again and the finalists for 2017 World Car of the Year (WCOTY) have been announced.


Around $5 million worth of engines have been stolen from the Jaguar Land Rover plant in Solihull, England.


Holden has uncovered faulty aftermarket bonnet latches during an investigation into reports of counterfeit parts being fitted by collision repairers as part of the FCAIs ‘Genuine is Best’ campaign.


Meantime, Holden will stick with the Sportwagon name, rather than switch to the Sports Tourer badge worn by the Opel/Vauxhall Insignia. It comes after the European version of the 2018 Holden Commodore Sportwagon was officially revealed online.


Toyota and Suzuki have agreed to formally explore partnership opportunities in the areas of environmentally friendly technology, safety and IT.


The Australian distributor for SsangYong – Ateco – has put the brand on indefinite hiatus because of a pricing debate between the manufacturer and importer.


Audi Sport isn't ruling out the possibility of developing a small volume quattro hypercar to sit above the R8 V10.


And an epic battle at the Bathurst 12 Hour last week, it seemed Ferrari and Mercedes-AMG would battle it out for top spot, but when Shane van Gisbergen crashed in a Mercedes-AMG, Ferrari took the win followed by Porsche then Bentley.
