Caterham sold-out for 2017 production, orders open for 2018

UK-based sports car brand Caterham has announced its entire production run for 2017 is accounted for, with order books now open for 2018.

While the company is very happy with the high demand for its sports cars, it means that supply for Australia is almost non-existent until next year.

In order to sell-out for the year, Caterham has sold 490 of its ultra-light Seven, which recently saw a price drop in Australia thanks to the Brexit vote which saw an improved exchange rate.

The company's local arm says its VFACTS result by the end of 2017 will be zero, though it has requested for some production slots to be allocated for Australia, should there be any cancellations.
