2018 BMW M4 facelift spied in Sweden

The facelifted BMW M4 coupe has been spied yet again, this time on the snowy roads of Sweden.

Other than different wheels, this prototype looks largely the same to the vehicle spied last September, leading us to believe the new M4 is just about ready to hit production.

The same black-and-white camouflage adorns the bonnet, front bumper and bootlid as before, concealing what appear to be OLED tail-lights taken from the current M4 GTS and M4 DTM.

It's believed the updated M4 will borrow components from the more focused Competition Pack and GTS models, including the suspension, brakes and titanium exhaust, though it's unknown which engine tune the facelifted car will feature under the bonnet.

Inside, the upgrades will likely include a new infotainment system along with upgraded switchgear and interior trims.

New online reports claim the current M4 will end production at the end of February, with the facelifted car not rolling down the assembly line until July – meaning there could be a significant gap between the two production schedules.
