Kia’s big RWD sports sedan revealed further in new teaser clip

The fourth and final instalment in the teaser video series heralding next week's unveiling of Kia's long anticipated four-door coupe has been released, offering a close-up view of its finer details.

Based on the GT concept revealed all the way back in 2011, the new sports sedan is known to share its platform with Hyundai's Genesis G80.

As these images reaffirm, at least one variant will be driven by the Hyundai-Kia partnership's new 272kW and 510Nm twin-turbo V6.

No surprise, Kia has promised this new sedan will be its quickest offering ever, claiming a 0-100km/h time of 5.1 seconds.

This latest video reveals a series of tightly-cropped glimpses at the new car's design, including a close look at the headlights, rear lip, exhaust tips and vents, along with a quick look through the sunroof and into the cabin.

Of course, although a little bit thrilling for fans, this teaser campaign has already been brought undone, thanks to a spy photo in November that revealed the finished car sitting on the factory floor.
